The modules grew out of Dr Baron Levi’s recently published book: The Hairy Bikie and other Metacognitive Strategies. Springer, New York, published in August 2020.
The modules are a practical guide to understanding and implementing strategies that Dr Baron Levi has been using with young people with Traumatic Brain Injury, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Learning Difficulties. Dr Baron Levi takes you through an easy to understand step by step process to use his Hairy Bikie strategies with a range of young people from pre-schoolers through to tertiary students. The modules contain PowerPoint presentations with voice over explanations as well as video examples of using the various strategies with a range of young people.
The modules were developed specifically for parents, teachers, school counsellors/psychologists, rehabilitation consultants and allied health workers. The modules are presented in such a way that there is no prerequisite skill required to successfully start using it with your young person.
